Temporary Volunteer and Building Visitor Mask Policy (05/04)

The safety of our volunteers, clients and staff members is important to all of us. In addition to going through a screening process upon entering our building, all volunteers and visitors are now required to wear a mask before entering the building. Volunteer delivery drivers are also required to wear masks when delivering to clients on behalf of Open Arms. Masks will be available at all of our building entrances and at meal delivery pick-up. Volunteers and visitors may also wear one of their own masks. Masks will continue to be optional for volunteers at our five Open Farm locations. Please find a diagram below, illustrating proper mask usage.

Everyone should keep in mind that masks are effective only when used in combination with frequent hand-cleaning with alcohol-based hand rub or soap and water, and by keeping the recommended physical distance of 6 feet from others, whenever possible.
