The Minnesota Elder Justice Center provides support, information and resources to older and vulnerable adults and their loved ones around issues of abuse, neglect and financial exploitation. They mobilize communities to prevent and alleviate abuse, neglect and financial exploitation of elders and vulnerable adults at no cost to participants. The Lift Garage is an affordable, non-profit auto repair service for all Minnesotans that meet the 150% Federal Poverty Guideline. They charge only $15 per hour plus the cost of parts at no mark-up. We serve all counties in Minnesota. Full payment is due at the time repairs are completed.

The Transit Assistance Program (TAP) is designed to make public transit more affordable for people with lower incomes. TAP provides a year-long reduced fare pass on a Go-To Card. It allows customers to use a bus or train for just $1 per ride – even during rush hour – with a 21⁄2 hour transfer.

Age Well Arrowhead offers delivery for groceries as well as household services like meal prep.

AEOA provides assistance and support for many programs related to creating healthy and equitable food access. The organization provides both take out meals and food delivery. There are five locations in Duluth.

The CHUM food shelf provides a five-day food order for people without food or the resources to buy food and advocacy services connecting people to the community.

The Damiano Center is an on-site meal program that also offers take-out options for meals.

Senior Café, a senior nutrition program in a congregate dining setting, promotes independence, dignity, good health, and nutritional well-being of older adults. In addition to a nutritious meal, we provide social interaction and activities, information about senior services; and connections with trusted professionals (now provide curbside service only).

Anyone age 60 and over is welcome. Spouses are automatically included regardless of age. The service, facility, and benefits of this program are for the use of all older people regardless of race, color, sex, religion, disability, or national origin.
