Twin Cities Chefs talk turkey with Open Arms on "Give to the Max Day"!

On Give to the Max Day, Thursday, November 19, at 7:00 pm, join Stephanie March from Mpls.St.Paul Magazine for a free livestream event called Talkin’ Turkey! She’ll be chatting with award-winning chefs from around the Twin Cities, including Gavin Kaysen (Spoon and Stable, Demi), Ann Kim (Pizzeria Lola), Justin Sutherland (Handsome Hog), Jamie Malone (Grand Cafe), and Anne Andrus (Honey + Rye Bakehouse) about their beloved Thanksgiving traditions! (UPDATE: Unfortunately, Yia Vang of Union Hmong Kitchen is no longer able to join us tonight.) Plus, you will have the chance to ask the chefs Thanksgiving cooking questions!

“I got into this business because I believe in the power of food to nourish, nurture, and heal the mind, body, and soul,” says Chef Ann Kim. “Open Arms of Minnesota shares that vision, and that’s why I support the vital work they do in our community.”

Talkin’ Turkey, which is free to watch, will begin at 7:00 pm Thursday, November 19 on Open Arms’ YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/openarmsmn

Thanks to our sponsor Cargill, donations made during Talkin’ Turkey will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $12,000.

Use the form below to RSVP for the event and to ask a Thanksgiving cooking question for the chefs. Those who RSVP will receive an email reminder the day of the event. See you on Give to the Max Day!
