Open Arms Earns Gold Winner Status In 2025 Minnesota’s Best

OPEN ARMS NAMED A 2025 MINNESOTA’S BEST GOLD WINNER!

The results are in, and voters have selected Open Arms of Minnesota as a 2025 Minnesota’s Best Gold Winner in the category of Place to Volunteer! A complete list of winners is available at MinnesotasBest.com and in the 2025 Minnesota’s Best Winners Guide delivered in the Star Tribune on Sunday, July 13.

Minnesota’s Best is Minnesota’s premier readers’ choice award program and is open to all Minnesota businesses large and small. There is no cost to be nominated, voted for, or to win this contest. The contest, which started in 2021, continues to rise in popularity with a 5% increase in votes vs. 2024.

“The Minnesota Star Tribune is thrilled with another incredible response from our readers and participating businesses during our fifth year of Minnesota’s Best,” said Paul Kasbohm, Executive Vice President and CRO. “The contest continues to grow as we recognize and celebrate outstanding businesses and organizations across the state.”

Minnesota’s Best 2025 by the numbers:

  • More than 8,100 businesses, organizations and individuals competed to be named Minnesota’s Best 2025
  • Minnesota’s Best voters cast more than 1.23 million votes.
  • More than 750 winners were announced in 392 sub-categories.
  • Minnesota’s Best winners represent over 150 Minnesota cities.

Open Arms of Minnesota Earns Accreditation from Food Is Medicine Coalition

Open Arms of Minnesota, the Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to providing nourishing, medically tailored meals to individuals with critical illnesses, has earned accreditation from the Food Is Medicine Coalition (FIMC). This recognition places Open Arms among an elite group of organizations nationwide that have demonstrated a high standard of care in delivering medically tailored meals (MTM).
