Open Arms Hosts Decade Celebration To Honor Most Dedicated Volunteers

As part of its yearlong 40th anniversary celebration, Open Arms proudly held its Decade Celebration event on Thursday, March 5, at the Minneapolis Kitchen and Campus. The event was designed to honor the unwavering commitment of our most dedicated volunteers who have passionately served our clients for a decade or more. More than 100 individuals—who have collectively contributed well over 155,000 hours of service to Open Arms—were recognized over the course of the evening. There are now more than 340 members of Open Arms’s Decade Club.

Open Arms of Minnesota Earns Accreditation from Food Is Medicine Coalition

Open Arms of Minnesota, the Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to providing nourishing, medically tailored meals to individuals with critical illnesses, has earned accreditation from the Food Is Medicine Coalition (FIMC). This recognition places Open Arms among an elite group of organizations nationwide that have demonstrated a high standard of care in delivering medically tailored meals (MTM).
