Meeting The Moment, Open Arms Impact Report For Fiscal Year 2024-25

In a year of uncertainty, Open Arms met the moment in FY24–25—rallying community support to continue serving critically ill neighbors despite significant challenges. Inspired by founder Bill Rowe’s legacy of responding in times of crisis, the organization remained grounded in resilience, compassion, and a steadfast commitment to showing up.

That dedication drove meaningful impact: nearly 1.5 million meals prepared and delivered to 3,678 clients. Volunteers showed up in force, programs expanded, and strong donor and partner support ensured Open Arms remained the Upper Midwest’s sole medically tailored meal provider as it approached its 40th anniversary.

Open Arms of Minnesota Earns Accreditation from Food Is Medicine Coalition

Open Arms of Minnesota, the Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to providing nourishing, medically tailored meals to individuals with critical illnesses, has earned accreditation from the Food Is Medicine Coalition (FIMC). This recognition places Open Arms among an elite group of organizations nationwide that have demonstrated a high standard of care in delivering medically tailored meals (MTM).
