Open Arms Set For Second Annual Great Minnesota Bake Sale!

Minneapolis, MN, [16 July 2025] – Open Arms of Minnesota is thrilled to announce that the second annual Great Minnesota Bake Sale will take place August 10-16, 2025. This event will see a network of bakeries, coffee shops, and other businesses from across the Twin Cities Metro area come together to raise funds for Open Arms’ mission to deliver medically tailored meals to critically ill Minnesotans in need.
Food has always been more than just sustenance; it fosters a sense of community and has long been a means to support important causes. The tradition of bake sales, rooted deeply in our Midwestern heritage, is a testament to this. Open Arms once again brings a fresh twist to this beloved tradition with the Great Minnesota Bake Sale, where partners will host week-long bake sales to support our mission.
Our Bake Sale Partners include a diverse array of businesses and sponsors. Each partner will participate by promoting the Great Minnesota Bake Sale and donate a portion of their sales during the event week. All the public needs to do to take part in this campaign is check out our list of Bake Sale partners, stop in at their stores from August 10-16, and ask how to support the Open Arms! Support can come in many forms, including sales of specialty items like cupcakes and cookbooks, select merchandise, a designated percentage of sales, in-store events, online promotions, tip jars, and set monetary donations.
