Registration For 2026 Food Is Medicine Summit Now Open!

The Food Is Medicine movement is gaining momentum across Minnesota, and meaningful collaboration has never been more important.

Registration is now open for the Minnesota Food Is Medicine Summit, taking place October 29, 2026, at Woodbury Central Park. The Summit will bring together leaders from across Minnesota’s healthcare, public health, community, nutrition, policy, and philanthropy sectors to share insights, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future of Food Is Medicine in our state.

We’re also excited to announce that the deadline for speaker applications has been extended to Wednesday, September 2.

We are especially interested in hearing from:

• Health system leaders
• Health plan leaders
• Rural Food Is Medicine leaders representing a variety of sectors and perspectives

Open Arms of Minnesota Earns Accreditation from Food Is Medicine Coalition

Open Arms of Minnesota, the Twin Cities-based non-profit dedicated to providing nourishing, medically tailored meals to individuals with critical illnesses, has earned accreditation from the Food Is Medicine Coalition (FIMC). This recognition places Open Arms among an elite group of organizations nationwide that have demonstrated a high standard of care in delivering medically tailored meals (MTM).
