Limited Tickets Available for Inaugural Minnesota Food is Medicine Summit
MINNEAPOLIS (Oct. 8, 2026) — Tickets are going fast as excitement builds for the inaugural Minnesota Food is Medicine Summit, now less than one month away on Thursday, October 29, at Woodbury Central Park in Woodbury, Minn.
Presented by Open Arms of Minnesota and Fairview Health Services, the inaugural Summit will bring together leaders from Minnesota’s healthcare, public health, community, nutrition, policy, and philanthropy sectors for a full day of expert-led discussions, interactive breakout sessions, and cross-sector collaboration. With a newly released agenda focused on improving health outcomes, addressing food and nutrition insecurity, and integrating Food is Medicine into Minnesota’s healthcare landscape, the Summit will offer opportunities to share insights, strengthen partnerships, and shape the future of Food is Medicine in the North Star State.
Throughout the morning, attendees will explore the evidence behind Food is Medicine, including health outcomes, costs, and research priorities, before hearing from healthcare, insurance, and nonprofit leaders about what it takes to make Food is Medicine programs ready for investment. The afternoon will feature three rounds of breakout sessions designed to move beyond the big-picture conversation and explore practical approaches, emerging partnerships, and opportunities to expand access to nutrition-based interventions.
Limited tickets remain available. Healthcare professionals, community organizations, policymakers, researchers, funders, and others interested in advancing Food is Medicine are encouraged to register before the event reaches capacity.
