Open Arms Seeks New Individuals To Serve On Board of Directors
At this time, Open Arms of Minnesota is looking for individuals interested in serving on our Board of Directors who are strategic thinkers, who have previous governance board experience, who share our values and passion for our mission, and are committed to helping Open Arms grow and thrive, and who self-identify with any or all of the following:
- Executive-level individuals with strategic partnerships with large corporations, healthcare, payers, foundations, or state and local government.
- Individuals who have experience and comfort with community fundraising and/or grassroots and political advocacy.
- Individuals who represent the communities that we serve, including people with personal experience with life-threatening illnesses, people of color, and/or people who identify as LGBTQ+.
We are looking for individuals who are excited to share the Open Arms mission with their connections to financial and fundraising resources. Open Arms board members are expected to be ambassadors in the community for the organization, providing introductions to key potential stakeholders. We give preference to people who have volunteered, been clients, or have a familiarity with our work, although we will consider others.
