October 24 is Food Day!

Posted on 10.9.12

We have an exciting event tonight to commemorate Food Day, a nationwide celebration of healthy, affordable and sustainable food:

Movie Screening and Panel Discussion

On Wednesday, October 24, join us at 6 p.m. for a screening of the movie Food Fight, an award-winning documentary about the American food system. Watch a trailer for Food Fight here>>

From 7:30 to 9 p.m. after the movie, there will be a lively panel conversation about our food system with Mike Venker, board member and Cargill division vice president; Tricia Cornell, author of the Eat More Vegetables cookbook; Lindsay Rebhan, urban farm consultant; Open Arms baker/farm liaison Rita Panton; and Farm Director Ben Penner.

RSVP to Events Director Nancy Benedict at 612-767-7338 if you can join us for this event.
