New! Cooking Classes for Volunteers

We’re starting a brand-new cooking class series for our volunteers! Bring a friend and learn from our talented chefs in the Open Arms kitchen.

HOLIDAY COOKING FOR A CROWD

For our first event, Chef Asei Tendle will teach a hands-on class on how to cook a multi-course feast for a large group during the holidays, and our friend Philip Park will show how to decorate a table for the season.

Learn the secrets of perfect holiday feasts from Asei, who has planned and prepared more than 7,200 Thanksgiving meals for clients in his nearly 12 years at Open Arms. He’ll even show you how to time your preparation so that every dish is hot when you’re ready to serve.

After the hands-on instruction, you’ll get to sit down and feast on the meal you just learned to prepare. You’ll also get to take home recipes and tips.

Thursday, October 30, 2014
5:30–8:30pm
Open Arms of MN
2500 Bloomington Avenue South, Minneapolis MN 55405

Tickets are $75 and there are only 20 spots available, so head to our donation portal before 10/24 and click the option under donation information for “Cooking Class” to buy your ticket>>
