Minneapolis Kitchen & Campus Lit Up In Red To Honor World AIDS Day
Today, on World AIDS Day, we honor the more than 35 million lives lost to HIV/AIDS—and the friends, family, neighbors, and clients whose strength and resilience continue to guide us.
At Open Arms, our roots in the HIV/AIDS community run deep. As we look ahead to our 40th anniversary in 2026, we remain steadfast in our commitment to Minnesotans living with HIV/AIDS. Every medically tailored meal we prepare is an act of nourishment, hope, and care—because no one should face this illness alone, and no one should struggle to access the nutrition they need to heal.
Tonight, and throughout the week, our Minneapolis Kitchen & Campus will glow red in remembrance of those we’ve lost and in recognition of the work that still lies ahead. Together, let’s honor their legacy by advocating for awareness, equity in healthcare, and a future free of stigma and barriers.
Thank you for standing with us—today and every day.
