Chief Finance and Administration Officer
This full-time, salaried position contributes to the fulfillment of Open Arms’ mission by leading the financial activities and strategy for the organization, and managing key administrative support functions, ensuring OAM has the resources and internal supports to accomplish its organizational mission. This position supervises the Finance Department, Buildings and Grounds department and the IT staff, as well as overseeing and managing compliance and general office and equipment administration. This is a hands-on leadership position that will serve on the executive leadership team and help lead the strategy and direction of the organization.

Director of Quality Assurance and Food Safety
This full-time salaried position contributes to the fulfillment of Open Arms’ mission by developing, implementing, and overseeing the quality assurance and food safety efforts across departments, particularly focusing on kitchen operations. The Director of Quality Assurance and Food Safety will directly supervise the Quality Assurance RD role. This position works alongside the Client Services and Nutrition Departments, Logistics Department and Kitchen Operations Department to ensure a high-quality product that meets the needs of our clients and complies with Food is Medicine Coalition (FIMC) accreditation standards and other national guidelines. The Director of Quality Assurance and Food Safety will be innovative, detail-oriented, and focus on continuous quality improvement among all levels of workflow from recipe development to meal delivery

Grant Writer and Reporting Manager
This full-time, salaried position contributes to the fulfillment of Open Arms’ mission by leading and managing the organizations’ existing foundation portfolio, as well as seeking and securing funding from new foundations. The Grant Writer and Reporting Manager will research, write, and track all grants for the organization, realizing budgeted revenue.

Human Resources Coordinator
This full-time hourly position contributes to the fulfillment of the Open Arms’ mission by providing support to the key functions of the Human Resources Department such as hiring, orientation, and employee relations. Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, this role will coordinate HR tasks and processes for the Organization. This position will work behind the scenes to enhance the employee experience.

Meal Expediter & Packager (Minneapolis and St. Paul)
This is an hourly full-time and benefits-eligible position in a high-volume production kitchen. Under the direction of the Food Services Manager, the Meal Expediter & Packager will set up the meal packing line for volunteers and gather all components necessary to complete packaging of meals for clients, while ensuring quality and consistency of our meals as they move through the packaging process. The packaging of meals is mainly completed by volunteers. The Meal Expediter & Packager must maintain a clean and sanitary work environment and ensure that volunteers are doing the same.

Internship Opportunities

Special Events & Development Nonprofit Internship
The Special Events & Development nonprofit intern will participate in nearly every aspect of the Organization. This internship will play an integral role in the daily activities of the Organization, as well as explore the inner workings of running a nonprofit.

Open Farms Internship
The Open Farms Intern will work side by side with the Farm Program Coordinator and the farm team to complete many tasks over the course of the growing season.

Nonprofit Internship
The nonprofit intern will participate in nearly every aspect of the organization. This internship will play an integral role in the daily activities of the organization, as well as explore the inner workings of running a nonprofit.
