Open Arms has been chosen as the 2023 @lakewindsfoodcoop Community Giving Round Up recipient during the month of February at all 3 locations in Chanhassen, Minnetonka, and Richfield. If you shop at Lakewinds, or know someone who does, please encourage them to round up this month. Proceeds benefit our Open Farms program, allowing us to continue growing fresh, local, nutritious vegetables for our clients’ meals. #RoundUp #FoodIsMedicine

Open Arms will be a participant in the 2023 King Boreas Grande Day Parade in downtown St. Paul this Saturday from 2-4 pm as part of the @stpaulwintercarnival. Watch for the Open Arms delivery van along with staff and volunteers dressed in vegetable costumes! The parade route will go down West 7th Street at Smith to 5th Street to Washington to 4th Street. We’ll be spreading the word about volunteer opportunities and our new St. Paul Kitchen & Campus. See you there! Click the link in our bio for more information.

Got some extra time in the afternoons? Looking for a 2-hour feel-good opportunity located on the East side of the Twin Cities? Our volunteer shifts packing client meals in St. Paul from 2:30–4:30 pm or 5-7 pm need some love! We have complimentary hats for any newbies and if you bring a buddy, we have happy hour gift cards for you to enjoy after you finish your shift! We are closed today to honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. As an organization committed to doing our part to contribute to racial justice both within our community and outside of it, we’re proud to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King Day.
