MINNEAPOLIS (Jan. 26, 2026) – The Open Arms of Minnesota community is heartbroken and outraged by what is happening in Minneapolis and to our neighbors around the state. The shootings by ICE and the fear and intimidation brought on by Operation Metro Surge has been devastating for our community, our clients, volunteers and staff. We grieve, we are angry, and we stand in solidarity with our neighbors, especially our clients navigating critical illnesses in the middle of this crisis. Rooted in our history of choosing love, we will continue to nourish our community with medically tailored meals, a side of hope, kindness and compassion. To our clients, volunteers, donors, and partners: Open Arms remains a place of welcome, care, and belonging. We stand with our neighbors.
