Open Arms Cook-a-Thon

The Cook-a-Thon is a 24-hour volunteer event where teams of six people will fill two-hour shifts to prepare and package nutritious food for Open Arms’ clients living with life-threatening illnesses in the Twin Cities. Our goal is to prepare a week’s worth of meals in just 24 hours!

Each team is asked to raise at least $750 to support their two-hour volunteer shift during the event – and there are prizes and incentives along the way!

This event will put the Open Arms’ kitchen at least a week ahead of production and add significant capacity to our efforts to provide nutritious food to more than 1,100 people each week.
