Are you an experienced gardener who is interested in using your skills to benefit vulnerable members of our Twin Cities community?
Are you a beginner who is interested in learning more about sustainable urban farming while donating your efforts to a meaningful cause?
Open Arms needs your help! We are currently looking for volunteers who dedicate a few hours per week throughout the growing season to help with our gardening project in St. Paul.
It will take a lot of work to grow our vegetables, so we’re looking for individuals and small groups who want to make a difference.
Tasks include:
*Preparing soil and seedbeds
*Planting, weeding and watering
*Harvesting and washing vegetables
*Transporting vegetables to Open Arms
*Having fun and helping others!
