The artists at Blasted Art created this very sweet bowl for us. Etched around the inside lip is the inscription, “This bowl shall have no owner, its journey never ends. It travels in a circle of our family and our friends.”

It could start its journey at your house. This year, we’re asking folks to throw a potluck in our honor. By that we mean invite your friends and family over, share some great food and conversation – and spread the word about Open Arms. Our hope is that they’ll not only make a donation to support the important work we do, but also take the friendship bowl and host a potluck of their own!

We'll make the potluck planning easy by filling your friendship bowl with invitations, talking points and some suggestions on how to ask for donations. We call it "Potluck in a Bowl" and our dream is to have volunteers host over 30 potlucks this year.
