Nutrition Resources

Open Arms offers a variety of specialized menus, prepared in our own kitchen, that are designed to be as delicious as they are healthy. The majority of our clients receive a weekly delivery of meals that include baked goods and cereal, soups and sandwiches, a variety of dinner entrees with side dishes, fruit, juice, and milk. Food restrictions and allergies of each client are documented and meals are tailored to meet each client's nutrition needs.  In addition to meals, we offer Nausea Care Packs with items such as ginger ale and saltine crackers that can help calm an upset stomach and caloric supplements such as Ensure. Our Registered Dietitian is available to provide individual nutrition counseling and food safety education.
