Kevin Winge Named Lavender Magazine's
2006 Person of the Year

Dear Friends of Open Arms:

The Staff and Board of Open Arms are proud to announce that Kevin Winge has been awarded Lavender Magazine's Person of the Year for 2006. Kevin is being honored for his work as our Executive Director, his outreach programs for people living with HIV/AIDS in South Africa and his work as an author bringing more attention to the plight of those living with HIV/AIDS through the publication of his book, Never Give Up. Lavender bestows this award to those people who have strongly impacted the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender communities within the last year.

We are honored to walk along side someone whose vision and dedication are unparalleled. As a continued supporter and friend to Open Arms, we wanted you to be aware of this recognition as it is a true celebration of Kevin's work and the work of Open Arms.
