In 2007, Open Arms’ signature fundraising event, Moveable Feast, set new records for attendance, fundraising, and restaurant participation. The evening began with 550 attendees gathering at The Woman’s Club of Minneapolis for drinks, appetizers, and auctions. Guests were then chauffeured to dinner at one of 37 partnering restaurants that generously donated meals and services. The evening concluded with a dessert reception back at the Woman’s Club and the public announcement of The Kitchen Campaign: Building the Future of Open Arms.

We extend our most heartfelt gratitude to the many sponsors, in-kind donors, and volunteers who helped us raise $213,000 to support Open Arms’ programs — a 30% increase from 2006. We also wish to extend a very special thank you to our restaurant partners who make Moveable Feast one of the most anticipated events of the year.
