New pieces of beaded artwork have arrived from South Africa, and Whole Foods Market is sponsoring this special 2nd annual SUMMER Monkeybiz sale!
Join us on Saturday, June 28 from 10am-5pm, when Whole Foods Market and Open Arms will feature a one-day sale of the beaded, one-of-a-kind artwork handmade by the South African beaders of Monkeybiz. Shop for groceries, shop for Monkeybiz, all while supporting Open Arms’ programs for people living with HIV/AIDS in South Africa.
The beaded art is created by women and men of MonkeyBiz, a non-profit,
income-generating project in Cape Town, South Africa. The one-of-a-kind items
are a perfect accent for any home and make great gifts. All proceeds from
the event support Open Arms’ partner meal program for people living with HIV/AIDS
in Guguletu, South Africa.
