Dawn of Hope Rehabilitation Center/Adama Nutrition Support Project
The Dawn of Hope Rehabilitation Center in Adama, Ethiopia provides emergency food relief and community support services for people living with HIV/AIDS, including outpatient clients. In addition, former patients often return to the center for a daily meal.
Open Arms, in partnership with the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD), provides the rehabilitation center with technical support and funding for two hot meals each day.
Funding the nutrition program at the rehabilitation center allows Adama clients to receive important nutrients, which helps improve their health and regain their independence, too.
