Hope Initiatives SA (HISA)

Hope Initiatives SA works in Namibia’s informal settlement communities, providing development programs for orphans, vulnerable children and their families, including health and nutrition, education, back to school and schooling programs, income generation, and support groups for people living with HIV/AIDS and children at risk.

With a team of community and international volunteers and staff, HISA implements its programs from the Kilimanjaro Community Development Centre in the Kilimanjaro Settlement. Open Arms provides technical assistance in nutrition and is currently in the process of working with HISA to determine the future of the partnership.
